Portable version

Registered users can use the Make portable item in the Tools menu to create a portable version of the program on a USB stick. The portable version runs from the removable drive without leaving any traces on the host computer. This can be useful in two main ways:

• If you normally use more than one computer the portable version enables you to use the same data on each computer. This includes aliases, bookmarks, comments, folder contents and folder notes. Non-MBS items and program settings are also portable.

• The portable version is fully functional but can be used without any special permissions on the host computer. In contrast, a standard installation may require the assistance of a computer administrator.
